The General Assembly is the supreme organ of the Association. It is composed of members of the Association who are in good standing. The General Assembly performs but not limited to the following function; elects members to the Board; determines the remuneration of the Governing Board; ratifies acts performed by the Governing Board on behalf of the General Assembly; and approves the end-of-year accounts submitted by the Board.
Governing Board consists of ten members with one member being a woman. The Governing board is made of the Chairperson, the Vice Chairperson, three (3) Board members, and five other Board members from the four zones and the Executive Secretary. The Governing Board executes but not limited to the following functions: develops guidelines for the long-term strategic direction of the Association; defines the organizational structure of the Association; promotes the Association; protects the interest of the members; and provides provisional approval of new members to mention but a few.
The National Consultative Council (NCC) is composed of all Governing Board Members and the Zonal Executives and is chaired by the Governing Board Chairperson. The National Consultative Council (NCC) reviews the national budget; proposes the allowances of the Board In-between General Assembly; reviews and accept the Annual Account; and discusses programs for members.
The Executive Secretary is the Chief Executive Officer of the Association and Secretary to the Governing Board. He has overall responsibility for the operations of the Secretariat of the Association. The Executive secretary is in charge of the management of the association.
